ASG Solutions Corporation is currently seeking Senior Developer with the following skills and qualification. 

 

Qualification

 

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

  • Analyze, redesign development, and deployment of new systems or work-processes and enhancement to existing systems or work-processes already developed

  • At least five years of experience in implementing (coding & testing) detailed design into application functionalities using Java/J2EE

  • Strong knowledge in object-oriented Design & Programming

  • Knowledge and/or experience in:

    • Web Servers (IIS)

    • Windows Platforms (MS SQL, Windows Server, MS Visual Studio, ASPX.Net)

    • Unix/Linux

    • Open Text Cordys Process Suite, formerly Cordys BPM

    • Open Text Content Server

    • Metastorm BPM

    • Microsoft SharePoint

  • Proficient in HTML and Java Script

  • Experience and knowledge of the State Department Leahy Vetting program and the IT Operations and Enterprise Network environment within the State Department.

  • Strong oral & written communication skills

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assistance in the installation, configuration, and testing of IMD’s testing and production environments of the following BPM components: BPM Engine, BPM Database, Insight, Sharepoint web parts, and Directory Services Integration (if desired by IMD).

  • Assistance in the development of a Requirements Traceability Matrix for the Automated International Vetting and Security Tracking (INVEST 2.0) system.

  • Assistance in the design, redesign, development, and deployment of the INVEST 2.0 BPM process map(s).

  • Assistance in the development of BPM forms that capture the INVEST 2.0 process data.

  • Assistance in the development of an internal search capability, providing an automated mechanism for performing a search against existing Leahy Vetting process data stored in the BPM database.  This search mechanism will permit users to record reference pointers to process data they deem relevant to the current search.

  • Assistance in the development of an Internet search capability, providing an automated mechanism for performing a Google Internet search for links to data relevant to the search subject.  This search mechanism will return relevant Google search results, a subset of which may be recorded in the BPM database.  Users will be given the ability to drill down into those links and copy data from them into the BPM database where it will be stored and made available for future searches. 

  • Assistance in the development of standard Audit Trail and Notes BPM forms.

  • Assistance in the development of a basic process metrics report(s).

  • Assistance in the development of administrative forms for maintenance of system users and data, as needed.

  • Assistance during the integration testing phase of the project to correct procedure defects.

  • Preparation of end-user documentation that highlights every form in the application and defines the user activities available on that form.

  • Assistance with the design and development of an end-user training course in accordance with Department regulations and 508 compliance.

  • Delivery of the end-user training, including travel to overseas Customer location.

  • Assistance during the deployment of the International Vetting and Security Tracking (INVEST 2.0) system.

  • Assistance with post-deployment Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the International Vetting and Security Tracking (INVEST 2.0) system.

  • Delivery of the following documents through the life of the project:

  • Project Schedule (agreed in coordination with the DOS Project Manager)

  • Detailed Requirements Analysis, Requirements Traceability Matrix

  • Draft Project Design Issues and Associated Impacts to Project Schedule, Cost, or Quality

  • BPM Design Summary

  • System Test Plan with Detailed Test Cases

  • Training Plan

  • Complete System Documentation and User Manuals (as relevant to the task)

  • Assistance with support and maintenance for INVEST 1.0 until the application is properly retired.
